How can I change my C: Path??

My computer C drive path is :


C: Documents and Settings\fred%26gt;





A lot of developers software that save my file will try


to do it in C: and not in the C: Documents and settings\Fred%26gt; path.





Can I change that to C: ?? Without the Documents %26amp; settings path?/

How can I change my C: Path??
I you start saving everything to the C: drive it will soon become very messy. Also you lose a lot of protection this way, files in your Document folder are totally controlled by you. Anyone getting into the machine as another user won't see them, where in C: they become publicly available.
